Hey friends! Today I’m taking you guys on a little trip of what I’ve been up lately. Will and I (plus Mindi!) have spent the past couple weekends on the coast of North Carolina. This place holds a special place in our hearts. The Crystal Coast of Eastern North Carolina is where we first began dating, we first said “I love you”,  where Will proposed, where we were married, and continue to make numerous memories. The beach is a place where we can unwind and forget about life’s worries. In fact, if I’m ever having a bad day or am feeling overwhelmed, I think about this very spot in the photo above.

Any day spent by the ocean is a good day in my book.

I mean, where else in NC could you find a house shutter that coordinates oh so perfectly with your Palm Print top?!

Or how about take the most imperfect family photos?

Then there’s also the board walks that lead straight to the ocean… not even a pretty view… at all. 

Yet for some reason, even though this is the same place I first met Mindi, she still doesn’t like to take photos with me because she’s too focused on playing in the water…or chasing seagulls. 

I guess it’s okay though, because she does like to pose with her Dad in front of the Beaufort waterfront (insert heart eyes emoji).
