Date Night at Seasons 52

TGIF! Am I right?! Whew this week leading up to the holiday weekend was a DOOZY! And now I officially feel like an 80 year old woman using the word “doozy”.
Okay, let’s move on ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m currently waiting at the terminal in RDU for a weekend in the windy city and deep dish capital of the world. Yep – CHICAGO! This is actually my first time in the city, so please send me any recommendations of your favorite spots!

While I’m super excited to explore a new city I feel like I have constantly been traveling this past month. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE to travel, but it requires a lot of extra planning than a normal schedule. It can be…exhausting. I feel silly even saying this because my husband, Will, has been away from home even more so than me lately. I’m actually heading to Chicago to visit him while he’s there for 2 weeks working.

With all that to be said, life can be crazy whether you’re home with a busy work/life schedule or away planning for your next destination. Will and I know life can be a whirlwind and that’s why we try to rein it in as often as possible. Time together as just the two of us is extremely important to us. Recently, in the midst of the hustle and bustle we were able to spend time together over wine and dinner at Seasons 52.
This is a new restaurant to the Triangle that is located outside of Crabtree Valley Mall. If you ask me, its actually a pretty convenient location. You can knock out your errands in Crabtree then head straight to dinner without worrying about traffic.

We went with the chef’s recommendations when ordering at Seasons 52. I’m so glad we did because everything she sent us was ah-mazing! From the lobster flatbread to the lamb and scallops entrees we were very impressed. Oh, and how could I forget about my most favorite course: DESSERT! After every meal the waiters and waitresses bring to the table an assortment of their seasonal mini desserts. Will had the peanut butter and chocolate while I enjoyed the toffee and dark chocolate. I honestly would go back to Seasons 52 just for a glass of red wine and one of the mini desserts.

It was such a nice, relaxing date night out for Will and I. Thank you Seasons 52 for having us and allowing us to spend time together over a delicious meal!
