Good Monday morning! This past weekend was pretty cold in NC. In fact, we did wake up to snow on the ground yesterday. Needless to say my weekend was filled with a lot catch-up work inside, Netflix, and Mindi snuggles. Not a bad way to recharge for the week!
Although our weather wasn’t quite like spring this weekend, the extra hour of daylight made me excited for the long, warm days ahead. Of course I’m ready for the warm weather outfits also.
Two trends I am glad to see that have stuck around for spring are the cold shoulder and off the shoulder. Both of these top details are not only flattering, but they give an ordinary outfit a little extra “umph”.
I’ve found the best of both worlds with this top by Tyler Boe. The Cali Top comes with removable straps for both the cold shoulder look and off the shoulder look. It also comes in a white and black version. I’m really thinking I need the black in my closet as well. Y’all know how I am about my black…
Instead of reverting to my #allblackeverything, I styled this outfit for a lighter, spring look. Paired with my new favorite white denim by AG Jeans, slip-on mules, and a few accessories this outfit was made complete.
Sidenote: AG Jeans has stolen my heart. You all saw the light wash jeans a couple of weeks ago here. Well, I’m just as tickled about this pair of Stilt’s in white. I’m pretty certain every woman knows how DIFFICULT it is to find a good pair of white denim. These by AG are what I’ve searched high and low for. They fit right at my hips (exactly what I like), have a good stretch without stretching out, and are skinny enough for flowy tops without looking like they’re painted on. Another A+ for you, AG Jeans!
Anyways, I’ll stop with my denim rant. I hope you all have a fabulous start to your week! Let’s all keep our fingers crossed that spring days are in our near future.
