Anddddd I’m back! Whew, I sure did miss this space the past 2 weeks. In case you missed it, my website was down and I’ve been under total reconstruction mode. I’m so thankful for all the help of my host for getting me back up and running.
It’s funny how the timing of things out of our control can happen. As this is the busiest time of year, I had several holiday outfit and organizing posts to share with you all. Since my site was drawing a blank (literally), I realized I had the time I’ve always wanted to focus more on whats around me. I focused my extra time on my clients, writing Christmas notes, and even did some holiday baking for our neighbors and friends!
Now that things are back to normal here on the website, I’m (of course) not in my normal location! I’m currently sitting in a coffee shop in the middle of Times Square. I’ve never been to NYC this time of year and y’all, it’s gorgeous! It is truly feels magical being surrounded by all of the lights and Christmas decor. Although we are here to celebrate Christmas, I keep thinking of the excitement that fills this area on New Year’s Eve. I cannot imagine the feeling of being surrounded by millions of people here while counting down to a new year and a new beginning. I’m sure it is quite the rush of emotions.
I wish I could stay here until the clock strikes 2017. As of right now we don’t have any concrete plans of how we’re going to ring in the New Year but, I know we will find an exciting place to celebrate in NC though. What do you all have planned for NYE? Have any of you ever been to NYC to watch the ball drop?! I’d love to hear!
My girl Courtney from Courtney Fashionista and I met up recently at one of our favorite stores, Versona. We shopped for our NYE outfits and shot a little style shoot to show you all what we found. Versona has the BEST accessories. I mean, how cute is Courtney’s clutch and my velvet fringe shawl?! I’m such a sucker for unique and detailed items in an outfit.
