Good Tuesday morning!
Yesterday was a cold and rainy day here in Raleigh. All I wanted to do all day was bundle up in a big blanket and sip on hot coffee. Unfortunately, sitting around cozy on a Monday isn’t reality. The next best thing though is to dress in a warm and comfortable outfit like this one I’m wearing!
This was the first time this season that I’ve worn my faux fur vest. Something about pulling out my fur gives me all the winter feels. During a recent Target trip I found this bell sleeve turtleneck for only $20. I thought it was too cute and reasonably priced not to bring home. I would suggest to size up in this top. The sizing is misses, so it runs a little small compared to typical womens sizing. I purchased the size large, which fit exactly how I like my tops to fit (with some breathing room haha).
My most favorite part of this outfit is my boots by Diba True. These bad boys are a new edition to my fall/winter wardrobe. I am so tickled because they pair with just about ANY outfit! The taupe color is the best neutral to put with blacks, browns, tans, greys and whites. If you’ve worked with me in a personal styling appointment recently, then this phrase may sound familiar. A pair of neutral (preferably taupe) boots is a staple item for every women’s fall/winter closet. In my opinion, this pair is also a happy medium as far as the height goes. Over the knee boots are huge right now, but I know some women feel like they aren’t tall enough to take on this trend. I think these Diba True boots are just tall enough to not make a petite woman feel overwhelmed.
Over the next few days I have some very exciting things happening with Danielle Davis Style. Stay up to date with what’s happening on my Instagram (@danielledavisstyle). Starting Wednesday I’ll begin sharing Instagram stories of what I’m up to!
