When it comes to make-up I am pretty practical. I have my everyday routine that I usually don’t stray away from. Although I tend to stick to the basics I do really enjoy watching beauty blogger’s tutorials. Heck, I even love listening to my friends who are passionate about make-up talk about their latest tricks and favorite products. Most recently while following these experts I fell in love with the idea of a “nude lip”. Every woman that I saw wearing a shade of this color I thought looked effortlessly stunning! I think I caught a small make-up bug because I felt inspired to give it a try.
After a little trial and error I found my favorite fall nude lip color (hooray!). This color is a little darker than others, but that’s exactly the look I wanted going into the cooler months.
The two products I’m using for this look are:
1) MAC Lip Pencil in SPICE – While trying nude lip colors I quickly realized the importance of a lip liner. I kind of felt like an old lady using this, but who cares?! It is what makes the nude colors pop!
2) NARS Lipstick in ROSECLIFF – This lipstick gives me all the heart eye emojis. It is the perfect combination of creamy and moisturizing with a matte finish. Plus, it wears for a longer period of time than what I’m used to. I loved that about this lipstick. Even after drinking a coffee I didn’t feel like I needed to reapply.
I had a great time finding this new beauty combination. It made me feel like I needed to step outside of my everyday routine more often. I’m going to set a goal that each new season I have to find one new product to introduce into my everyday make-up.
