TGIF, y’all! This is post is way overdue considering these photos were taken 3 weeks ago (whoops)! I feel like this summer is flying by… so that’s my excuse for the delay ;).

I mentioned here and here the mountain trip I took with my mom in June. We jam-packed as much as we could into our trip starting the day that we drove there. On the way up to the cabin we pass by our favorite NC winery, Raffaldini Vineyards. We just had to stop because this was a girl’s trip after all! This vineyard is absolutely GORGEOUS. The mountain views, gardens, and wine rooms are breathtaking. Plus, the wine is what we would consider the best in NC!

After a wine tasting, Mom insisted on photographing my outfit with the view of the winery and mountains. Hats off to Mom (and maybe the little bit of wine ha!), because her first shot at using my Canon was pretty dang good! I’m no expert by any means, but I was impressed with my momma. 

This outfit actually ended up being the perfect impromptu summertime winery outfit. Always plan for the unexpected when traveling, right?! My top is from a local boutique and not available online. I did link some other options for y’all that I’m digging (see below in the shopping widget). These white denim shorts are what I feel like I’ve lived in this summer. I purchased them back in the spring from Ann Taylor Loft aka my go-to store for all shorts. What I love about their shorts is the quality and comfort for the price. If you catch them during one of Loft’s amazing sales, then you can rack up on a few and you’ll be golden in the shorts department.
