Things I’ve been loving lately: relaxed fitting dresses.
With the weather heating up, all I can think about wearing is something cool and not clingy. During my recent weekly trip to Target, I found myself in the women’s clothing section (surprise, surprise). Without even heading to the dressing room I threw this black dress and a chambray dress into my cart. In case you missed last week’s blog featuring the chambray dress you can see it here.
These dresses have a great price point of only $23 and are both very comfortable. The black tiered one I am wearing for this outfit is what I would consider my summer little black dress (LBD). I would wear this for a casual day of travel or dress it up with the right heels and jewelry for a date night. For this particular look I styled the dress with a  Free People lace bralette – which is on sale now for $10! The details of this bra are feminine, and I love the t-strap back. This is a styling piece that is great for this time of year if you want to achieve a layered look. I usually pair it with a sheer or open back top for a little extra detail.
The outfit I’m wearing was actually inspired by our trip to Asheville, NC this past weekend. We stayed in a cute mountain house with 3 other couples. It was an absolute blast! I wish the weekend getaway could have been a week long instead. Although, I think we did a pretty good job of packing in as much as we could from a Thursday night to Sunday morning. I was certainly glad to have brought along with me these relaxed fitting dresses and other comfortable items.
