This holiday season I have LOVED shopping with local retailers in the Raleigh/Durham area. My most recent find was a jewelry company called Peppertrain. While at a fashion show, I happened to see this necklace on one of the models and had to find out more. Peppertrain, an old nickname given to the jewelry designer, is made of intricate handmade beads. What I love most about this brand is that every necklace is unique creating a custom look for everyone who wears Peppertrain.
For this look, I paired my custom necklace with new arrivals from another local retailer, Greige Boutique. Greige is an online store based in Chapel Hill, NC. Everything they offer is extremely affordable and all orders include free shipping (aka best online shopping experience EVER). For example, the sweater and faux fur vest combined are under $100!
The faux leather leggings I added to this outfit are from fab’rik Raleigh in Cameron Village. This is another one of my favorite local spots to shop in my area. Check out their local instagram here or shop from their corporate online store here.
Fun Fact: Locally owned businesses recycle a much larger share of their revenue back into the local economy.
So why not share the local love this holiday season?!
