A store that reflects my personal style is without a doubt Anthropologie. From their unique clothing, accessories, and home decor to their creative store merchandising; this store gives me major heart eye emojis.
While pursuing my degree in Apparel Merchandising, it seemed I was always using Anthropologie for inspiration if not the main focus of a project. When my husband and I were registering for gifts while we were engaged, I insisted on including Anthropologie. I created a wish list (this was before their registry program) for our wedding guests to shop. Friends and family who shopped here RAVED about how awesome it was to purchase the “not-so-typical” wedding items. Now, my husband and I love having the unique pieces throughout our home. Although, if you know my husband, you know he still jokes about my owl cookie jar.
I’ve shopped their retail stores in NYC, DC, and beyond. Of all the stores, my absolute favorite is located in Durham, NC at the Streets at Southpoint shopping center. There is just something different about this store that feels warm and inviting. Lucky me, this location just so happens to be only a few miles away from our house.
During my most recent shopping experience at Anthropologie Durham, I worked with one of their personal stylists, Morgan. We immediately hit it off and chatted all about styling and life. Morgan was so great as I saw her working with multiple customers at once. I loved watching her make each woman feel important while finding the outfits specific to their style.
As soon as I entered the store, I spotted this black faux fur shrug. Morgan and I decided this was a must-have for my outfit. From there, Morgan walked me through several different new arrivals that would compliment the shrug. What I loved most about her helping me was that she listened. She remembered everything I wanted and pulled even more pieces that described “me” perfectly.

Of course it’s more fun to shop with them in the store, but I’ve also provided shoppable links at the bottom of this post.
**Both clutch and bracelets I purchased locally from fab’rik Raleigh. You can also shop similar looks in the links above.
