Every week I travel a lot for work or events. I believe planning ahead to stay organized is key for any sort of travel. But what happens when too many great outfits are planned and the packing space is lacking? I have a trick to follow that changes the packing game. The trick is as simple as how to fold items. It gives me more luggage space and less wrinkled clothes. Follow the photos below for step by step instructions on how to fold a basic tee and denim (two staples that almost always travel with me). This is what my suitcase looked like packed for a 5 day vacation. It included: 5 tops, 1 pair shorts, 1 pair of jeans, 1 dress, 4 bathing suits, 2 cover ups, 2 workout outfits, 1 sweatshirt, 1 sweater, 2 sets of pjs, all undergarments, 2 pairs of shoes, jewerly case, and cosmetic case (shop my FAV organizing case brand here).
If you’re traveling somewhere this weekend, give this little trick a try! I promise you’ll be surprised with the outcome.
